CMU dhcpd 3.3.7+PU

CMU dhcpd 3.3.7 is a combined BootP and DHCP server, available from Carnegie Mellon University.

Development of this sofware at CMU has been halted. At Princeton we've added a few new features, and fixed some bugs (and probably introduced new ones, naturally). We've also incorporated patches that others have posted. Our version is 3.3.7+PU.

Development of this software at Princeton University also has ended.

Latest Released Version

Version 3.3.7 with Princeton Patch 12 (3.3.7+PU-12) is the latest released version. It was released July 5 2017.

Precompiled Versions and Ports

Precompiled versions for Solaris are available on Sunsite, courtesy of mark@zang.com (mark@metalab.unc.edu); you may want to retrieve one of them if you have difficulty compiling the source.

It's currently available as a Solaris package (for SPARC Solaris 2.4, 2.5, 2.5.1, 2.6, and 7; and for i86pc Solaris 2.5.1 and 2.6). Visit http://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/packages/solaris/sparc. (Look for a filename that starts with 'dhcp' and check to see what version number (patchlevel) it includes.)
